Louis De Rohan
Louis first picked up a camera when he was 5 years old. His dream, to be a photojournalist. In 1995 he apprenticed as a News Editor and Environmental Correspondent for The European Newspaper for 2 years working in French, Spanish and Italian. For 17 years he has freelanced as a travel journalist and photographer for UK and international magazines and newspapers.  His editorial work is saturated with vitality, spirit, colour, light, humanity and his positive energy.  In 2005 Louis founded creative communications agency, LDR LONDON in Soho, where he is Creative Director. 

Louis de Rohan was born in Yorkshire, England, in 1970.  He grew up on the cliffs of North Devon for 25 years blessed with 18 mile unspoilt views of the Atlantic Ocean.  Louis is a traveller, adventurer and free spirit who is passionate about the Natural World.  He is the second youngest in a family of 6.  His English mother is an artist and his Franco-Austrian father raised in the castles of Bohemia.  Both are sport and animal lovers.  Louis has an identical twin, Pippi, who is his soulmate and lives in Sydney.  Both are surfers and share a deep connection with the sea, wilderness and wildlife.  Louis's sister Anuschka is an Emmy nominated Producer Director for the BBC Natural History Unit making award winning wildlife documentaries for nearly 2 decades. His eldest brother Niko has lived in the mountains for 30 years between New Zealand and Switzerland. They are a close family, a source of inspiration and all continue to be a strong influence in his life.  Louis is based in London.
